Eleanor Stokes "Sue" Hoggle | MOUNDVILLE Eleanor "Sue" Stokes Hoggle, age 89, of Moundville, departed this life for her heavenly home on August 31, A.D. 2010, at Heritage Health Care and Rehab in Tuscaloosa. Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville, Ala. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the Moundville UMC Family Life Center. Pallbearers will be her son-in-law, Rickey L. McClelland, and her grandsons, Brian, Rickey Layne and Brady McClelland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas D. Stokes and Margaret A. Stokes, her sister, Vernelle Stokes Townsend, and her husband of 62 years, Aubrey A. Hoggle. Sue is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Hoggle McClelland and Rickey L. McClelland, her three special grandsons, Brian Aubrey McClelland (Kelly), Rickey Layne McClelland and Brady Thomas McClelland; three great-grandchildren, Gavin Wade McClelland, Landen Clay McClelland and Payten Alivia McClelland and a host of other family members and friends. She is also survived by a beloved friend, Hattie Pearl Sanders. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the Administration and Station 2 Staff of Heritage Health Care and Rehab, Inc. and Southern Care Hospice for their unfailing love and care for Sue.
