Edna Mccarver

Edna "Faye" McCarver, age 65, of Duncanville, AL, passed away July 10, 2022 at DCH Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Ecru, MS with Bro. Brock McWhirter officiating.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Clifford Breland, son, Randy Bigham and her father-in-law, John McCarver.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Gary McCarver; sons, Bill McCarver (Tasha) and Richard McCarver; daughter, Christal Hargrove (Joey); Grandchildren, Haley McCarver, Morgan McCarver, Brennen McCarver, Hope Hargrove, Hanna Hargrove, Austin Hargrove, Brooklyn McCarver, River McCarver and Aaron Alexander; brother, Alvin Breland (Valerie); sisters, Sarah Rich (Forrest) and Jackie Keller (Curtis); mother-in-law, June McCarver and sister-in-law, Lori Parker (Ricky). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved dearly.

Faye was a loving wife, mother, sister, Granny and friend. She loved to brag on her children and grandchildren who made her so proud. She was a kind and loving person who was always ready to help someone in need. We will miss her long phone calls, her big holiday meals, birthday celebrations and her giving heart, but we find comfort in knowing how much she loved the Lord and is now in Heaven rejoicing with Him.

The family would like to thank Dr. David Call, Dr. Gene Aldridge, Dr. Dirk Berry, Dr. Charles Gross, and Dr. Bradley Bilton for all of the care they have given her over the last year. We would also like to give a special thanks to Hawthorne Global Aviation, Steve Provencio and Mitch Williams for their support during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation in memory of Faye.
