Edna Lorene Lancaster NORTHPORT | Edna Lorene Lancaster, age 91, of Northport, died April 27, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Northport Church of Christ with Joe Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Thursday one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lancaster; mother, Effie Pierce; father, Guin Pierce; and brother, Oliver Pierce. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Richards (Jerry) of Cocoa, Fla. and Betty Barrentine of Northport; grandchildren, Tammy Stephens, Jay Richards Jr. (Karen), Beth Appling (Jim) and Shane Barrentine; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jay Richards, Jr., Shane Barrentine, John Barrentine, Cade Delbridge, James Bates, Robert Bates, Wayne Pierce, Levi Stephens, and Jim Appling. Honorary pallbearers are members of Northport Church of Christ, staff of Hospice of West Alabama, and Beau and Crystal at Park Manor.
