Earnie Hayse Guy TUSCALOOSA - Earnie Hayse Guy, age 74, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died September 3, 2016. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Gene Dockery officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. The body will lie in state at Magnolia Chapel North one hour prior to services. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Ruby Guy. Survivors include daughter, Judy Guy Davis (Rick); sons, Victor Guy (Kathy), Richard Guy and Kenneth Guy; sisters, Billie Junkin (Joe) and Brenda Patton (Pat); brothers, Hoyt Hubert (Brenda), Harold and Hillary ""Lori"" Guy; parents, Willis Harvey Guy and Ruby Pate Guy; grandparents, James Thomas Guy and Mattie Lindsey Guy, Earnie Albert Pate and Mattie Jordan Pate; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Hayse was born in Pickens County, Ala., but grew up in Tuscaloosa. He was a self-employed contractor for many years and travelled extensively with his job. Pallbearers are Jacob Channell, Kenneth Pritchett, Daniel Jarrell, Brandon Close, Richard Guy, and Kenneth Guy. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
