Dr. Jerry "Jerome" Rosenberg
NORTHPORT - Dr. Jerry ""Jerome"" Rosenberg of Northport, Alabama born May 28, 1940 in Brooklyn, N.Y. passed away February 2, 2018.
He was preceded in death by Barney and Ruth Rosenberg of Miami Beach, Florida
He is survived by his sister, Iris Lynn Rosenberg of Miami Florida; sons, Stephen Rosenberg and husband, John DiGregorlo, of Boynton Beach, Florida, Robert ""Bobby"" E. Rosenberg of Birmingham, Alabama and Tony M. Rosenberg and wife, Jodi Rosenberg, of Northport, Alabama; their mother, Terri Rosenberg of Northport, Alabama; grandchildren, Michelle Rosenberg and husband, John Christopher Harris, Skylar Rosenberg and Tony Austin Rosenberg; and great-grandson, Jaxon Ryker Harris.
Jerry Rosenberg, retired Psychology and Holocaust Studies Professor from the University of Alabama, leaves behind many friends, colleagues and former students. His lifelong love of learning and sharing that knowledge enriched countless lives for more than 40 years.
A family visitation will take place Monday, February 5, 2018, from 6-8 p.m., at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North, 4905 Hwy. 69 North Northport, Alabama.
A Memorial of Life Celebration will take place April 27, 2018 at the
