Dorothy C. Morrow NORTHPORT | Dorothy C. Morrow, age 89, of Northport, died February 20, 2014, at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Jena with Pastor Steve Strickland officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Lizzy Morrow; sisters, Alice M. Burns and Rachel A. Morrow; and brother, Ross Morrow. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Dorothy was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from March 1951 to March 1971. Honorary pallbearers are friends from Jena and Romulus communities, Dr. Stephen Brown and staff of Forest Manor Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pleasant Grove Cemetery or the charity of one's choice .
