Donald W. Hall NORTHPORT | Donald W. Hall, age 75, of Northport, died July 3, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Rev. George Shaddix and Rev. Rusty Selman officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Beatrice Hall; sister, Dean Frost; and brothers, Gene Hall and Robert Hall. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Hall. Don was born in North Alabama. After school, he spent five years in the Navy. Following that time he met and married his wife, Mary Ann in 1971. They moved to Northport and made it their home in 1976. Don worked as a driver for Hardins Bakery and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Don loved the Lord and was a long time member of Northwood Hills Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Dennis Hall, Tony Sourke, Martin Sourke, Chris Brazel, Royce Kirkland, Don Williams, John Calhoun and Jim Handley. Honorary pallbearers are members of Morgan Sunday School Class at Northwood Hills Baptist Church, Virginia Booth, Otto and JoAnn Hallman, Buddy and Carol Lackey, John and Brenda Tilley, and Royce and Fay Kirkland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Northwood Hills Baptist Church or Hospice of West Alabama.
