ROMULUS} David Lee Thomas, age 66, died at UAB Hospital on December 2, 2018. A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at his home in Romulus. Magnolia Chapel South handled Cremation arrangements.

He is preceded in death by his father Archie Thomas, mother; Polly Thomas, brothers; L.C. Thomas, James Thomas, Levi Thomas, and Archie Thomas, Sr. sister; Mary Otis Hendrix, nephew; Pete Hendrix, and grand daughter; Autumn Jade Thomas.

Survivors include his wife Sharon Lynn Thomas, daughters; Gabrielle Levins (Brian), sons; Michael Thomas (Lisa), Chris Thomas, sister; Jean Burroughs, brothers; Howard Thomas, Bill Jack Thomas, grandchildren; Izeck Thomas, Dominic Levins, Keithan Levins, Haleigh Thomas, Natalie Thomas, Casey Mills, (Alexis Greyce McGaster) .

David was a U.S. Army Veteran, an avid fisherman and a loving husband of 45 years.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Thomas, Chris Thomas, Dominic Levins, Howard Thomas, Bill Jack Thomas, Duck Averette, Andrew Lewis, UAB Staff, VA Staff.
