David Walton Stinnett, age 45, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died September 2, 2019 at his residence. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2019, at Magnolia Chapel North with Neil Reynolds officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing. . Visitation will be 1:00 pm ~ 3:00 pm Friday, September 6, 2019, at Magnolia Chapel North.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Natasha Newton Stinnett, grandparents; Nick and Tula Stinnett and George and Mae Morrison.
Survivors include his sons; Ansel Kerry Stinnett and Griffin Quinn Stinnett both of Tuscaloosa, brother; Joseph Shane Stinnett of Northport, parents; Nick and Nancy Stinnett of Northport and Griffins mother; Kelsey Allen.
David was born in Stillwater, OK. on a day with 22 tornados. He grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, Aurora Hills, California, and Northport, Alabama. He has remained friends with his old buddies, Kris Garriott, Brian Layman, Rob Stewart and Daniel Norton. David is a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High Schhol, The University of Alabama and Faulkner University. He enjoyed travels to Ireland and over the United States. David loved history and photography, but he especially loved his boys and being with them.
Pallbearers will be Kris Garriott, Daniel Worton, Chris Newton, Jayston Tyree, Joshua Stinnett, and Brett Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be staff and volunteers at Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter, Beverly Phifer, Brad Cork, and employees of Phifer Wire.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to Harvest Hands Food Ministry at University Church of Christ, Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter or your favorite charity.
