David Howard Adams STURGIS, Miss. | David Howard Adams, age 57, of Sturgis, Miss., died Thursday, July 23, 2015, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South, with Bro. Ed King officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan Howard Adams and Annie Lois Phillips Adams, and sister, Tina Adams Hammett. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mae Evelyn Adams of Sturgis, Miss.; daughter, Alana Dawn Adams of Sturgis, Miss.; sons, Don Howard Adams II. (April) and Allen David Adams (Keri Sealy- Adams) of Sturgis, Miss.; sister, Lisa Ingram of Moundville, Ala.; six granddaughters; and three grandsons. He was a millwright for South Eastern Lumber Co. He retired from the United States Navy with 18 and a half years of service. He was a member of Honorary State Guard and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and motorcycles.
