Darrell Boothe

Darrell Wayne "Bama Boy"� Boothe, age 52, of Coker, died Aug. 25, 2011, at Hospice of West Alabama. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Buhl Church of God with Bro. Kenneth Andrews and Bro. David Kelly officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Lee Simpson, Sr.; his grandparents, Maudie and Willie Pratt Boothe; and his brother, Antony Brown. Survivors include his mother, Helen Ware; his sister, Patricia Simpson Cook; and his brothers, Don Boothe, Donnie Simpson, Jr. and wife Jann, Jackie Ware, and Wesley Ware. Mr. Boothe was a veteran and a truck driver. He loved being out on the roads. He was a Bama fan.
