MOUNDVILLE - Scott Hallman, age 48, of Moundville, died July 19, 2018, at his residence. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2018, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Bro. Darrell Harbin and Bro. Ray Hallman officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chaney Hallman.
Survivors include his daughter, Kelli Hallman; son, Collin Hallman; parents, Horace Hallman and Annette Hallman; sisters, Susan Hamrick (Greg) and Lisa Lewis (Al); brothers, Brooks Hallman and Ray Hallman (Robin); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Scott was the youngest of five children. He was a hard worker who was willing to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.
Pallbearers will be TC Herndon, Philip Herndon Austin Herndon, Caleb Herndon, Jim Powell, Toney Averette, Hudson Hall and Garth Sabbagh.
Honorary pallbearers are neighbors of Taylorwood Estate, Big Sandy, Chester Henderson, Joe Hoggle, Rubye Harbin, Billy Vaught, Daniel and Casie Fowler,
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Salvation Army.
