Dana Oliver Criss TUSCALOOSA Dana Oliver Criss, age 44, of Tuscaloosa went to be with her Lord on September 21, 2013 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Magnolia Chapel South with the Rev. Bill Richards officiating. Entombment will follow in the Magnolia Chapel South Mausoleum with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Dana was a Godly wife and a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her light shined at its brightest during the most difficult days of her life. She fought a good fight, she kept the faith and she finished the course. Anyone who had the honor of knowing her truly loved her. Her unbreakable faith will give us the courage to continue to keep the will of God in our lives despite our broken hearts. God will wipe away all our tears and we will be reunited with Dana one day. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Howard and Nell Oliver, and Edgar Strickland. Survivors include her husband, Tracy Criss; daughter, Bayleigh Criss; parents, Doug and Betty Oliver; sister, Tanya Baker (Rusty); nephew, Jake Baker; grandmother, Geneva Strickland; father and mother- in-law, Travis and Wanda Criss. She also left a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Tim Strickland, Jimmy Palmer, Yancy Collins, D.J. McKinney, David Cottingham, Tony Hammond, Roger Williams and Jay Leatherwood. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. and Mrs. John Dubay, Dr. Steven Copeland, Bro. Herb Campbell, Bill and Mary Payne, Scotty and Angel Green (Madeline and Caroline), Andy and Faye Baker, Karen Cottingham (Raegan), Calvin and Deloris Stripling, Kenny and Denise Davidson, Billy and Nedra Payne, Paul and Connie Bracknell, Les and LeAnn Rhinehart, Current and Former Employees of TTL, Employees of Tuscaloosa County, Doctors and Nurses at DCH Manderson Cancer Center, Members of Englewood Baptist Church, Taylorville Baptist Church, East McFarland Baptist Church, DCH 2nd Floor Oncology Nurses and 1st Floor MICU Nurses.
