Claudy Kenneth Hoggle | TUSCALOOSA Claudy Kenneth Hoggle, age 83, of Tuscaloosa, died July 31, 2010, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Bro. Ed King officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Archie H. Hilda Hoggle; his parents, Melvin and Dora B. Hoggle; his daughter, Reba Hoggle Pate; and his brothers, Olen Hoggle, Sr. and Aubrey Hoggle. Survivors include his grandson, Thad Pate; and his sisters, Katie Jenkins and Mellie Dunn. After proudly serving in the Navy during World War II, he came back to finish his senior year in high school in 1946. He was the starting quarterback for the Hale County Wildcats. After high school he worked most of his life for Zeigler's. He worked there for over 30 years and became the regional sales representative. He was a loving paw paw, husband, brother, and friend. He was a righteous man who touched so many people's lives in Moundville and everywhere he traveled. He will truly be missed, but forever remembered. Pallbearers will be Ray Johnson, Tom Nelson, John Bradshaw, Kirk Pearson, Jr., Judd Lunsford, and Steve Murphy. Honorary pallbearers are Moundville Masonic Lodge #123, Hale County High School Class of 1946, and staff and residents at Skyland Oaks Assisted Living
