Charlotte was a retired nurse who had worked at Hale County Hospital, DCH and home health with Seton Home Health Care Agency. She had a natural caring way about her that made the nursing job look easy. She has seen babies born, held the hands of ones who were ending their journey on earth and everything in between. Her home health patients also loved her and looked forward to her visiting them. Charlotte was a wonderful homemaker and mother but her favorite thing was being a "Nana". She would always welcome people into her home and her hospitality was unmatched. She knew what each family member loved to eat and would make a special effort to bake or cook them their favorites. The grandchildren and great grand. Would always make her smile even if she didn"t feel well. She will leave a deep void in our hearts with her passing but we know that she is rejoicing in heaven with Jesus and other loved ones who have gone before her. Pallbearers will be Dannie Spence, Mark Dockery, Ty Spence, Mitchell Kennedy, Kai Irwin, Hank Atchison, Ouanah Spence. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Larry Skelton, Dr. David Hinton, Glenda Robertson, Peggy Taylor, Louise Blank, Pine Ridge Community and friends, members of Indian Mounds Baptist Church, Journey Hospice and staff, and Helen Shelton.
