Charles Cameron Sims

VANCE - Charles Cameron ""Tattoo"" Sims, age 43, of Vance, Alabama, died November 10, 2018, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 6 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2018, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Jonathan Blackstock officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing.
He was preceded in death by Sharon Lee and Mary Clifton Sims.
Survivors include his wife, Monica Sims; daughters, Mary Kathrine Sims (Jordan) and Keri Marie Sims (Dylan); son, Kristopher Lee; sisters, Jennifer Petry (Marc), JamiLee and Kristy Sims; brothers, Joseph Lee, Lonnie Petry, Jamie Sims, and Joey Poe; and grandchild, Dalton Kimbrell.
Cameron was a great man with a heart of gold. He thought the world of his family, extended family and friends. Even as sick as he was he smiled and let you know he loved you. He helped many and was a humble man, if it was his it was yours.
Pallbearers will be The Don-Dell Corp. and 2nd floor oncology unit of DCH Regional Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center.
