Charles Neill

Charles E. Neill, Sr., age 76, of Moundville, died Aug. 17, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Moundville Baptist Church with Scott Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. He was preceded in death by his father, Earnie E. Neill; his mother, Willie Mae Owen; his son, Douglas Aubrey Bibby; and his uncle, Vernie Neill. Survivors include his wife, Betty Neill; his daughters, Jean Key (Steve) and Janet Rainey; his sons, Chuck Neill (Jane), Rick Neill (Janice), Chris Neill (Georgette), Jim Neill (Janie), and Jimmy Bibby (Susie); his sister, Pearlie Neill; his brothers, Robert Neill and Walter Neill (Belinda); his brother-in-law, Selwyn West (Linda); and 16 grandchildren. Mr. Neill was born in Cullman. He was a salesman and owner of Neill's Produce in Moundville for 20 years. Pallbearers will be Brody Neill, Corey Neill, Drew Neill, Blake Neill, Johnathan Neill, Eric Neill, Josh Hicks, and Scott Lewellyn. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Larry Skelton and staff of Moundville Medical Clinic.
