Charles Timothy Johnston, age 56, of Vance, Ala., died June 28, 2017, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Services will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Danny Carroll officiating. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South is directing. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie "Buddy" Johnston, Jr.; mother, Sharon Johnston; and sister, Kimberly Johnston Corley. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Sanders Johnston of Vance, Ala.; daughter, Kayla Johnston Hall; step daughters, Nicole J. Dyer and Haley A. Dyer; son, Charlie Johnston; step son, Gregory C. Dyer, Jr.; son-in-law, Robert Hall; sister, Tracy Johnston Stephens; nephew, Holden Stephens; brothers-in-law, Mike Sanders and Barry Stephens; and grandchildren, Bryson S. Johnston, Annabelle G. Hall, Addilyn N. Hall, Colton A. Taylor and Isabella G. Woodard. Tim was a very loving and generous man. He was a family man who loved his family and all his friends with his whole heart. He was always willing to help a friend in need. Tim was a very devoted and compassionate man. His zest for life and his humor were contagious. Tim's untimely passing has deeply affected all who knew him. He is greatly missed and dearly loved. We shall surely meet again. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Norris, Danny Carroll, Mike Sanders, Barry Stephens, Roger Davis, Robert Hall and Tim's Nurses from Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
