Charles Adam Green NORTHPORT | Charles Adam Green, age 64, of Northport, died April 10, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Flatwoods Baptist Church Cemetery with Cecil Smith officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by parents, Virgil and Nina Green; brother, Elmer Adams; son, Charles Adam Green, Jr.; sisters, Agnes Britton, Nadine McCary, Beatrice Embry and Imogene Hankins; and granddaughter, Angel Maria Green. Survivors include his wife, Loreta Ann Green of Northport; daughters, Charlotte Crystal Victory and Ginger Jaye Green of Northport; sister, Juanita Ingram of Athens, Ga.; brother, James Adams (Joan) of Killen; grandchildren, Brittney Ann Victory, Christopher Adam Victory, Noah Lee Green, all of Northport. Charles was a loving husband, father and grandfather and former owner of Western Auto of downtown Northport. He will be greatly missed. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. John Warren, Jerry Lafoy, Darwin Ellison, Tony Pendleton, Ray Glenn, Jim Myers of Alberta, Brenda Prewitt, special PCA of DCH staff of 6th floor and the staff of 6 North. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Flatwoods Baptist Cemetery Fund.
