Chuck Glover FOSTERS | Chuck Glover, age 78, of Fosters, died June 19, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Grants Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Griffin and Rev. Don Springer officiating. Burial will follow in Sylvan Methodist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Monday, June 22, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel Guy Glover; mother, Mary B. Glover; and brothers, Randolph Guy (Buddy) Glover and Anthony Roy (Tony) Glover. Survivors include his wife, Laurene Lawrence Glover of Fosters; daughters, Kim Glover Hodo (Ronald) and Ami Glover Hallman (Bill); son, Jeffrey Charles Glover (Becky); brother, Michael Thomas Glover; grandchildren, Rhen Glover, Rhett Glover, Brandi Hodo, Austin Hallman, Taylor Hallman, and Hunter Hallman; and great-grandchildren, Gabriel Glover and Tristan Glover. Chuck graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 1955 where he played in all sports. He especially liked football. He was an avid Alabama fan. Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an outstanding cook and his specialty was chicken and dumplings. He was always smiling and laughing and loved people. Pallbearers will be Austin Hallman, Rhen Glover, Rhett Glover, Dustin Glover, Randy Glover, and Hunter Hallman. Honorary pallbearers are present and retired members of Tuscaloosa Fire & Rescue Service, The Alabama Football Game Day Group, and The Eutaw Golfing buddies, his Thursday eating buddies, Grant's Creek family, medical staff at DCH Regional Medical Center, and Pickin' & Grinnin' buddies.
