NORTHPORT - Chad Faulkner, age 45, of Northport, Ala., died January 23, 2019 at UAB Hospital. Services will be 7 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jimmy Parker; grandfather, Owen McDonald; and nephews, Easton Parker and Cody Fletcher Faulkner.

Survivors include his wife, Leslie Faulkner; parents, Danny Faulkner and Sylvia Faulkner; sister, Shelly Faulkner; brother, Shaun Faulkner (Christy); grandmother, Angela McDonald; uncle, Don Stephens (Jackie); stepchildren, Sarah, Hayden, Carson and Anna Lake; nieces, Emma Krimson, Berkley Parker and Audree Busche; mother-in-law, Rafae Parker; brother-in-law, Jed Parker (Kristi); sister-in-law, Kristin Busche (John); the Northside Community: teachers, coaches and friends; TCHS Class of '92, Moose Lodge, Northport Internal Medicine, VFW and countless friends.

He was the most caring, honest, helpful husband, stepdad, son, brother and friend. He loved his family, the beach, the lake, Alabama football, and corn hole.
He was a 1992 graduate of TCHS. He joined the United States Navy shortly after high school, but was medically discharged before he got to serve our country. He gave to so many and expected nothing in return.
The family wishes for those who attend the service to wear casual attire.
