Cecil Glen "Track" Burroughs
MOUNDVILLE - Cecil Glen "Track" Burroughs, age 59, of Moundville, Ala., died August 4, 2018 at Grandview Medical Center. Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Magnolia Chapel South with Bro. Robert Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery-Moundville, with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Burroughs, Jr. and Ima Griffin Burroughs.

Survivors include his daughter, Bobbi Spencer (Chad); son, Marcus "Bubba" Burroughs (Danielle); sisters, Carroll Brown (Roger) and Sandra Boswell; brothers, J.G. Burroughs (Mary) and Phillip Burroughs (Patti); grandchildren, Brianna and Brantley Harris; step-grandson, Dalton Spencer; and two grand fur babies, Hank and Bo.

Cecil was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was an avid sports fan who loved, Alabama Football, NASCAR and baseball. Cecil coached and umpired little league baseball in Moundville for years. He also enjoyed camping, had a good sense of humor, and was fun-loving. Cecil was all about family.

Pallbearers will be Andrew and Jedadiah Burroughs, Richard Boswell, Carl and Carlton Bates, Thomas Martin, Jim Lavender and John Walker.

Honorary pallbearers were Moundville Little League Baseball and former employees of Lawter Chemical.
