Carolyn Morris

Carolyn Jane Lee Morris, age 76, of Tuscaloosa passed away March 24, 2017. She was a member of Forest Lake United Methodist Church (FLUM). Carolyn was retired from the University of Alabama College of Communication. While attending the University of Alabama, she was a member of the Million Dollar Band. Some of Carolyn"�s avid interests were the Model Airplane Club, HAM Radio Club, ceramics, singing in the FLUM choir, playing the hand bells, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Shamblin Morris; father, Roy Edward Lee, Sr.; and mother, Esther Jane Lee. Carolyn is survived by her brother, Roy Edward Lee, Jr.(Charlotte), nieces & nephews: Roy Edward Lee III(Diseree), Gary Lee(Jennifer), Rebekah Lee, Melissa Lee, Thomas Lee(Leanah), Paula Tucker, & Vaughn Poe; many great nieces & nephews; & her precious pet Millie. The family wishes to thank the doctors & nurses of DCH especially Dr. Elizabeth Western during her illness. Magnolia Chapel South will conduct graveside service at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 10:00 with visitation precedingat 9:00 at Magnolia Chapel South. Dr. Kevin L. Thomas will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Roy Edward Lee, Jr., Roy Edward Lee III, Gary Lee, Thomas Lee, &Vaughn Poe. Honorary Pallbearers are Charlotte Lee, Rebekah Lee, Melissa Lee, Charlotte McNabb, Karla Johnson, Wilber & Florence Beaver, Prim Ryan, Vi Roberts & FLUM Chancel Choir.
