Carol Guy Pate NORTHPORT - Carol Guy Pate, age 83, of Northport, died July 31, 2017, at Heritage Healthcare & Rehab. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Rev. Tim Baumgarten officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 2, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.T. and Leona Guy; sister, Sue Fair; and brother, Donald Guy. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Luther Burgess Pate; daughter, Susan Pate Shirley (Mark) of Northport; sons, Steven Pate (Connie) and Randall Pate (Donna), both of Northport; sister, Bonnie Marquis; brothers, Dural Guy (Mollie), Revis Guy (Anita) and Roy Guy (Jolene); grandchildren, Jenny Ellis (Jeremy), Daniel Pate (Kristin), Brandi Weaver (Caleb), Hannah Allen (Nick), Natalie Shirley and Trenton Shirley; and great-grandchildren, Eli, Isaac and Abe Ellis, Max, Caroline and Jameson Pate, Josie and Ty Weaver and Elizabeth and Emmie Allen. Mrs. Pate was a loving daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family meant the world to her. Most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior and is rejoicing for eternity. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary pallbearers are members of Northport First Free Will Baptist Church and employees of Caring Days & Heritage Healthcare and Rehab.
