Carl Koster TUSCALOOSA | Carl Koster, age 69, of Tuscaloosa, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, April 8, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South, with Rev. Jerry Koster, Rev. Bill Richards and Rev. Irby Jackson officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Chapel Mausoleum with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home. He was preceded by his parents, JC and Frances Koster; and infant daughter Anna Marie Koster. Survivors include his wife, Sue Koster; daughter, Joanna K. Klipstine (Todd); son, Darryl Koster; sister, Elaine Shealy (Ray); brothers, Danny Koster (Shirley) and Johnny Koster (Ann); grandchildren, Brandon Klipstine (Dakota) and Aaron Klipstine; and great grandchild, Jonah Klipstine. Carl was a member of Crestline Baptist Church and was an ordained Minister. Carl and Sue were married May 14, 1965. Pallbearers are employees of Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North and South. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Crestline Baptist Church and employees of Hunter Creek Rehab. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carl's memory to favorite church or charity.
