Calvin Watson

Calvin "Cal" Dewey Watson, a cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away on January 18, 2025, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at the age of 89. Cal lived a full and meaningful life surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Cal is survived by his devoted wife, Peggy Jo Watson, his daughters Sheree B. Weaver, Desiree L King, and Monique M. Dennison, as well as his grandchildren Chase B. Weaver and Taylor N. Susini. Their presence brought immense joy to Cal's life and they will continue to honor his memory.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home, located at 6100 Old Greensboro Rd., Tuscaloosa, AL 35405. Visitation will take place from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with the service immediately following.

Cal's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort and peace to all that mourn his passing.
