Calvin F. Burnett TUSCALOOSA Calvin F. Burnett, age 71, of Tuscaloosa, died March 1, 2013, at Hospice of West Alabama. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Englewood Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Richards officiating, and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Survivors include his wife, Lenora Burnett; daughter, Hollie Higdon (Chad); sisters, Joy Phillips (Bud), and Laurie Hicks (Trevor); parents, W.B. and Ora Seay Burnett; and grandson, Harrison Higdon. Mr. Burnett and his dad owned and operated Burnett & Son Logging. In later years, he owned and operated Vernon Auto Parts in Vernon, Ala. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 389, and a member of Englewood Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping and wood working. He loved his family dearly, but his greatest joy was his grandson, Harrison. Special thanks to friends and church family at Englewood Baptist, Hospice of West Alabama, Paul Drummond, Huey Hester, and Ronnie Fulgham. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude for all the kind expressions of love, prayers, and support from each and every one of our special family and friends during this time.
