Buddy Robertson | MOUNDVILLE Buddy Robertson, age 69, of Moundville, died May 6, 2011, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Bro. Chuck Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Monday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mickey Hocutt, Leon Robertson, and Thomas Hocutt; his sister, Jessie Mae Snipes; and his grandson, Zachary Colburn. Survivors include his wife, Voncile "Pinky"� Robertson; his daughters, Anita Robertson-Hester (Doug), Denna Beckham, Sonja Robertson-Colburn (Billy), and Deron Hallman; his son, Daryl Hayes (Nancy); his sisters, Linda Hoggle and Shirley Kent; his brother, Bussie Robertson; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Buddy was a loving husband and father and a friend to all. He loved to play practical jokes on all his close friends. Pallbearers will be David Gray, Dave Burroughs, Rickey Wyatt, David Elliott, Charlie Williams, and Jeff Hallman. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Larry Skelton, Butch and Betty Pounders, William Townsend, all of his very close friends and painters, Ray Melton, and Hunter Washburne.
