Bud Connell

Bud Connell BUHL Bud Connell, age 75, of Buhl, died July 10, 2012, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Buhl Church of God with Rev. David Howell, Rev. Kenneth Andrews, and Rev. David Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and three brothers. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Connell of Buhl; his sons, Dennis Connell (Margaret), Doug Connell (Holli), and Ricky "Mutt"� Connell (Rhonda), all of Buhl; his brothers, Travis Connell and Billy Joe Connell, both of Buhl; his grandchildren, Curtis Connell, Chris Connell, Elizabeth Connell, Matthew Connell, Candace Connell, and Josh Connell; and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Connell was a painter and contractor for 55 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and outdoorsman, and inspired all of his family by the life he lived. Pallbearers will be Dennis Connell, Douglas Connell, Ricky "Mutt"� Connell, Chris Connell, Matthew Connell, and Josh Connell. Honorary pallbearers are Doug Hollyhand, J.V. Kelly, Aubrey Boothe Jr., Dr. Stephen Browne, Bob Renfroe, Dothion Kelly, William Bostick, Cassandra Latham, Brian Hartley, Blake Hamner, members of Indian Creek Hunting Club, his devoted dog Sissy, Curtis Connell, and David Connell.
