Bruce Bailey Foster, age 80, passed away to be with his Lord in Heaven on April 12, 2020. Family and friends are welcome at a graveside service which will be held on Friday, April 17, 2020, at 12:00 noon at Memory Hill Gardens with Rev. Rick Mitchell officiating.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Albert Bailey and Amy Jewel Foster, sister; Betty Faye Hutson (Thomas), and brother-in-law; Robert Hall.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 38 years, Nancy, sister; Bobbie Sue Hall, sister-in-law; Janet Craven (Art) of Huston, TX, sons; Chadwell Bruce Foster and Preston Ryan Foster (Mallory); daughters, Angel Foster and Beth McCray(Shane); grandchildren; Jackson Foster, Dylan and Brooklyn McCray, and many other loving family members.
Bruce was a loving husband, father and pawpaw/bomp bomp. When Bruce worked for the Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue he was a medical technician and was honored for saving a life, the first of three. Bruce was a Christian and an active member of Crestline Baptist Church where he was very involved in starting the church. He was a Master Mason and a Shriner. He wished to thank his 30,000 customers who purchased vehicles from Tuscaloosa Auto Brokers over the last 30 years.
Pallbearers will be his nephews. Honorary pallbearers are TCHS Class of 1958, Jack and Jo Ann Thompson, Fonda Sherrill, Ed Allen, Boots Hartley, Ed and Susan Tatro, Buddy and Sue Jones, Judge Hardy McCollum, Delaine and Barbara Mountain, Clint Mountain, and the staff of Mountain and Mountain Attorney's, Dr. Ross Vaughn, the Larry McCray family, Ted Sexton, Connie Thompson, Larry Boothe, Frankie Boothe, Tommy Avery,Glen Williams, Members of Crestline Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue and Auto Dealers of Tuscaloosa.
