Brownie Sue Wedgeworth Swanger HOLT - Brownie Sue Wedgeworth Swanger, age 83, of Holt, died at Heritage Healthcare & Rehab Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Bone Camp Cemetery with Rev. Rick Mitchell officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Floyd Swanger; daughter, Jeanie Cain; parents, William Cornelos and Manila Wedgeworth; brother, Foster Wedgeworth; and sister, Mildred Sanders. Survivors include her daughters, Jimmie Nell Camp (Jimmy) of Northport, Kathy Lockhart (Dennis) of Cottondale and Angie Cundiff (Danny) of Fayette; sons, Frankie Swanger (Frances) of Gordo and Michael Swanger of Kennedy; brother, Sidney Wedgeworth (Mary Jo) of Gulfport, Miss.; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be deacons of Holt Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers are employees and staff of Heritage Healthcare and Rehab, Hospice of West Alabama, members and friends of Holten Heights Church of the Nazarene, Southside Methodist Church, Hilltop Baptist Church, Holt Baptist Church, Clara Verner Towers and friends and neighbors of the Holt community.
