Brenda H. Payne Brenda H. Payne age 64 of Moundville died April 21, 2014 at Northport Medical Center DCH. Services will be held on Thursday April 24, 2014 at 2:00pm at Stewart United Methodist Church with Bro. Bill Curtain officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in Stewart. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Magnolia Chapel South. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South is in charge of arrangements. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Viva Mae and William Hutchins and her brother Ray Hutchins. She is survived by her husband James E. Payne, Jr. ; daughter Tabitha Payne Garner and her son Jamey Payne. She is also survived by her sisters; Sue Strickland, Delma Medders, and Patsy Reed, brothers; Leroy Hutchins and Billy Hutchins; and her grandchildren Kylie Elizabeth Brown, Jay Payne, Tyler Payne Brown, Ally Grace Payne, Abby Kaye Payne, and Smith Garner. Brenda was a graduate of Brookwood High School, after graduation she met and married the love of her life, Jimmy Payne. They moved to Stewart, Alabama where they established their home together for almost 45 years. Her home, and her family were her pride and joy. She enjoyed her beautiful yard and flowers. Her grandchildren were her most prized possession. She enjoyed every football game and baseball game that was played at HCHS. She took much pride in her work as a beautician for 35 years, she loved and cared for each and every one of her customers. Pallbearers will be Greg Siavelis, Logan Strickland, Brian Blake, Scotty Medders, Gavin Hutchins, Patrick Hutchins, Niel Hutchins, Danny Hutchins and Wayne Hutchins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Larry Skelton, Northport ICU nurses and doctors, Stewart united Methodist Church members, former customers of the Moundville Styling Salon.
