Brenda Gregg

Brenda Gregg, age 66, of Northport, AL, passed away March 20, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Pickens County with Bro. Thaxton Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Margie Turner.

Survivors include her husband John Robert Gregg of Northport, AL; daughter, Sandra Chavez (Gelacio) of Gordo, AL; son, James Brumett of Northport, AL; brothers, Larry Turner (Peggy) and William Turner, both of Northport, AL;  grandchildren, Devin, Reece, Josh and Max Chavez; Misty, Nakomis, Megan, and Kymmie Brumett; and great-grandchildren, Trisha and Nevaeh Howell and Kyran Chavez.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a caregiver to many people over the years.

Pallbearers will be James Brumett, Jason Morrison, Shawn Clark and Scotty Snow.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. David Call, The Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center, and staff of 6th Floor DCH and Miss Kim, special friend, Joyce Taylor, and other friends and relatives, Ruby Beck and Zelda Parker.
