Bobby L. Wyatt AKRON Bobby L. Wyatt, 69, of Akron, Ala., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013, at China Grove Cemetery in Hale County with Pastor Josh Wilson (nephew) presiding. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South will be directing. He was preceded in death by his father, James David Wyatt, and his mother, Bessie Griffin Wyatt. Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; sons, Jason Wyatt (Shannon) and Luke Wyatt; stepdaughters, Amy Clements (Jeremy), Nicole Walters, Sarah Mason (Junior) and Caroline Walters; brother, Ronnie Wyatt (Nancy); sister, Carolyn Wilson (Bob); mother-in-law, Earnestine Lancaster; and his precious grandchildren, Madden Stephens, Leighton Stephens, Camille Wyatt, Lily Wyatt, Tyler Johnston, Kevin Keith Wald, Jr. and Brooklyn Wald. Bobby was a graduate of Tuscaloosa High School, Class of 1963, and the University of Alabama where he was the first recipient of the Stephen A. Willard Memorial Award in Special Education. He retired as Special Education Coordinator of the Hale County Board of Education. Bobby was a loving and devoted husband, dad, brother and Paw Paw, and he loved the Lord. He enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and reading his Bible. He had a loving heart for special needs children and made it his lifetime work. There are no words to describe the love he had for his family and friends. Pallbearers will be Bryan Wilson, Ty Wilson, Ricky Wyatt, Nick Thurston, Bob Wilson, and Randy Pugh. Honorary Pallbearers are present and former members of the Sportsman Hunting Club, Tommy Lee of Pilots for Christ in Monroeville, Ala., Mr. Robert E. Ramey, Dr. John Dubay, Dr. Graham, and all nurses and staff of M. D. Anderson Tuscaloosa Cancer Center, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, Dr. Ana Aparicio, Hospice of West Alabama, nurses, staff, and volunteers and a special thanks to Vickie King, RN, Yolanda Edmonds, RN, Ollie Evans, CAN and Toi Gordon, Social Worker, and Belinda Freeman, Chaplain. A special heartfelt and loving thank you to all friends of Bobby's community, whom he loved dearly. Bobby requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
