Biven Clements NORTHPORT Biven Clements, age 80, of Northport, formerly of New Lexington, died Jan. 16, 2013, at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in New Lexington with Rev. Terrell Jones officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Owens Clements; her parents, Julius and Dora Nelson; and her grandsons, Joseph Scott Phillips and Dustin Owens Humphrey. Survivors include her daughters, Johnnie Humphrey (David), Melinda May (Warren), and Phyllis Baker (Ken); her grandchildren, Amelia Fenimore (Danny), David May (Danza), and Megan Phillips; and her great-grandchildren, William Phillips, Amber Fenimore, and Brandon Fenimore. Pallbearers will be Ken Baker, Clark Collins, Danny Fenimore, David Humphrey, David May, Warren May, and Joe Nelson. Honorary pallbearers are family and friends of the New Lexington and Northside communities, WMU ladies of Arbor Springs Church whose visits she loved, Jenna Cooper CRNP, and her beloved Forest Manor family. The family expresses thanks to her numerous caring friends for their special visits. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Salem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 21881 Gorgas Road, Berry, AL 35546.
