“This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you” John 15:12. If you were fortunate enough to have the pleasure of knowing Billy Pearson, you know that love is one emotion you always felt in his presence. To know Billy was to love him and his giving heart. Billy was born in Pickens County, Alabama where he found his love of hunting and being outside that he carried with him throughout his life. Billy met his wife Faye early in life, and they were happily married for 62 years. They made a beautiful life together where the love they had for one another was always obvious to whomever they were around.
Through the years Billy worked at Bryce Hospital, Gulf States Paper, and Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Company. He and his wife Faye has owned Faye’s Fabrics Sew and Vac for 53 years. He adored his customers and had many friends in the industry where he is well respected.
Billy was a wonderful husband, father, father in law, grandfather, elder, and Christian, who cherished his family and all of the people in his life immensely. Billy worked hard and his work ethic was obvious throughout his life, a trait he instilled in his children and grandchildren. The family would like to ask you to do something kind for someone, just as Billy did daily.
