Billy Herman "Hogman" Hall NORTHPORT - Billy Herman "Hogman" Hall, age 79, died February 5, 2017 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. February 10, 2017 at Magnolia Chapel North with Pastor Scott McQueen officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2017, from 5-8 p.m. at Magnolia Chapel North. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Mary Louise "Lou" Hall; son, Richard "Ricky" Hall; parents, Bruce A. Hall and Zona Patrick Hall; brother, Van B. Hall and sister, Leana Hart. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Glenn Hall; daughters, Kim Hall Hester (Lynn), Kristy Hall Guinn, and adoptive daughter, Heather Ryals (Aaron); sister, Mary Magalene Cogburn, Texas; brothers, Arnold Hall and Bruce Hall (Neysa) both of Oklahoma; father-in-law, Snowden M. Glenn; grandchildren, Brandi Burgess McDowell (David), Brittney Burgess Woodruff, Trey and Tanner Hester, Mason and Lucy Guinn; great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Charlie McDowell, Parker Woodruff, Oliver Hester; and adoptive grandchildren, Hallie, Clara and Jana Ryals. Billy was raised in Tuscaloosa, Ala. and graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School class of 1957. He retired from the Tuscaloosa Fire Department after 29 years of service and the Alabama National Guard after 38 years. He was a longtime member of Lakewood Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Jerry Bobbett, Roy Glenn, JP Guinn, Todd Hartley, Aaron Ryals, and Tony Watson. Honorary pallbearers are the Tuscaloosa Fire Department, past and present. Del Hartley and members of Lakewood Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama or the building fund at Lakewood Baptist Church.
