Billie Snyder

Billie Sue Snyder, age 87, of Coker, AL, passed away September 28, 2021 at UAB Hospital. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at Magnolia Chapel North with Bro. Lindsey Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Coker Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Friday at Magnolia Chapel North.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wood  Snyder; sons, Richard Deal Snyder and Rodney Wood Snyder; mother, Susie Jacobs; father, Archie Duran; sisters, Mary Finley and Emily Watts; and best friend and loving helper, Betty Bell.

Survivors include her brother, Troy Jacobs; daughter, Susan Hiles; daughter-in-law, Rose Snyder; grandchildren, Shane (Kacy)Kelly
Gabrielle (Steve) Myers, and Brad (Megan) Snyder; great-grand kids, Skyler, Mason, and Reagan Kelly, Christopher (Kaylee), Haley, Dalton, and Hope Kelley. Mike and Grey Snyder; and a very large group of extended family and friends.

She was born on August 30,1934. She loved God, family, cooking, and Alabama Football.

Pallbearers will be Shane Kelly, Brad Snyder, Paul Skelton, Skyler Kelly, Mason Kelly, and David Strickland.

Honorary pallbearers are the Coker Community, Coker Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and UAB medical team.
