Billie Hannah

Billie Ruth Hannah, age 79 of Brookwood, passed away August 21, 2021 at home. Services will be held on August 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church in Brookwood with Rev. Johnnie Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Thurman Hannah, parents; Tom and Frances Beard, two infant brothers and her sister; Peggie Hannah.

Survivors include her son Tedman Hannah (Teresa), daughter; Bridget Milkey (Roger), sister; Betty Jean Hannah (Wayne), brothers; Tommy Beard (Judy), Danny Harold Beard, three step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren,  three children that thought of her like their grandmother, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Billie Ruth enjoyed her fish pond, she loved to cook and she loved baking wedding cakes.

Family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama.
