Betty Sue Kelly | COTTONDALE Betty Sue Kelly, age 70, of Cottondale, formerly of Buhl, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 4, 2010. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Buhl Church of God with Bro. Kenneth Andrews, Bro. David Howell, and Bro. David Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Pate Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Kelly; her daughter, Belinda "Susie"� Barnett; her parents, Elbert and Viola M. Channell; her brothers, Elbert C. "Bud"� Channell and A.F. "Sam"� Channell; and her sister, Burnice Watson. Survivors include her sons, Larry Sexton, Tommy "JR"� Ard and wife April, and Michael Ard and wife Nancy; her daughters, Lynn Criss, Cindy Clark and husband Tony, and Ashley Gould and husband Jamie; her sisters, Nona Faye Connell and Marie Burroughs; and her grandchildren, Kayla, Josh, Coty, Brittney, Dillon, Kyle, Jessica, T.J., Hannah, Michael, Brandon, Megan, Kaylen, Emma, and Alyssa. Pallbearers will be Mark Watson, David Burroughs, Dave Connell, Ronnie Channell, Jimmy Ray Burroughs, and Scott Burroughs. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Turner, Tammy VanDee, Kathy and Johnny Sullivan, Mike Criss, the nursing staff of 1st Floor ACCU at DCH Regional Medical Center, Dr. Warren Holley, Dr. Jennifer Burdette, Dr. Kelly Hunter, and Hospice in Birmingham for their dedication and prayers.
