Betty Henry

Betty Henry, age 80, of Moundville, died Sept. 22, 2011, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Bro. Scott Stevens and Bro. Ed King officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Y.C. and Ethel Jones; her husband, James Henry; and her infant daughters, Vicki Lynn and Cynthia Ann Henry. Survivors include her daughter, Connie Frye and husband David "Red"; and her sons, Mike Henry and wife Tina and Keith Henry and wife Stacy, all of Moundville; her sisters, Helen Mathis of Mobile and Bonnie McKay of Holt; her sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth "Lily" Epperson of Tuscaloosa; her grandchildren, Matt Frye, Amye Oswalt, Hope Henry, and Austin Henry; and her great-grandchildren, Lane Frye, Beau Nolen, Brylie Kate Frye, and Brody Frye. Pallbearers will be David "Red" Frye, Mike Henry, Keith Henry, Matt Frye, Austin Henry, and Lane Frye. Honorary pallbearers are members of Moundville Baptist Church, employees of Moundville Health & Rehab, longtime friend Bonnie Haney, and Hospice of West Alabama. The family gives special thanks to Angie James for taking such good care of "Nana".
