Betty Omega Kilgo Cole TUSCALOOSA Betty Omega Kilgo Cole, age 80, of Tuscaloosa, died September 19, 2013, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Forrest Lake United Methodist Church with Rev. Hal Nobie and Rev. Lyle Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, William "Bill"� Cole, Sr.; daughters, Sharon Sewell (Bill) and Rholinda Daly (Patrick); son, William "Bill"� L. Cole Jr. (Mary); sisters, Synthia Brock and Odeen Wren; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Though her accomplishments were many and varied, her greatest accomplishment was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Pallbearers will be Collin Sewell, Nicholus Sewell, Bill Davis, Keith Daly, Kevin Williamson, and Joel Cole. Honorary pallbearers are Verta Meherg, Sharon Standifer, Beverly Banks, Janice Noble, Dr. Gary Kilgo, Linda Lowery, friends for life; DCH Auxiliary, nurses, lay chaplains, and Riley Lumpkins Sunday School class. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama and Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center.
