Betty Tingle Burroughs MOUNDVILLE Betty Tingle Burroughs, age 75, of Moundville, passed away on March 25, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. today at Oak Hill Cemetery with Carlon Tibbs officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mary Tingle; her husband, Otha (Squeaky) Burroughs; and daughter-in-law, Connie Burroughs. Survivors include her sons, Ronnie Burroughs (Pearl) and Micheal Burroughs (Marsha); sisters, Rubye Cook, Myrtis Burroughs (Charles), Ann Bonner, Dorothy Beckham, and Joyce Wood (Frank); brothers, Billy Tingle (Carolyn) and Dale Tingle; grandchildren, Michael Lee Burroughs (Adrianne), Adam Burroughs (Heather), Alex Zimmerman (Wade), and Ashley Myers (Chris); six great-grandchildren and one on the way. Pallbearers will be Jerry Cook, William Cook, James Beckham, Andrew Murphy, Sr., Andrew Murphy, Jr., and Terry Rowe. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Larry Skelton and his staff. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society .
