Bertha Ann Montgomery NORTHPORT | Bertha Ann Montgomery, age 75, of Northport, died December 7, 2014, at Heritage Health Care. Services will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Campground United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Montgomery, Bro. George Jackson and Frances Prickett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Thursday one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margie Williams. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James (J.B) Montgomery of Samantha; sons, Mike Montgomery (Christi), of Samantha and Scott Montgomery (Melinda) of Northport; sister-in-law, Jean Jacobs; brother-in-law, Wayne Jack Montgomery; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mom was a dedicated military wife for 17 years, making long lasting relationships with those she came in contact with. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Pallbearers will be Shannon Montgomery, Christopher Montgomery, Adam Montgomery, Tony Camp, Randy Jacobs, and Jesse Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Heritage Healthcare staff, ICCU DCH Regional Medical Center, and all of our extended family and friends.
