He truly loved racing and passed the love of racing on to his son Tim. He was looking forward to being at Magnolia Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on March 3, 2012, which is the first race of the season. He was also looking forward to seeing his son Tim drive super late model this year. He will be missed by his 14 year old rat terrier Prissy. He enjoyed his community on Acker Road in Northport where the Clarkes (Tommy, Margaret, and children) loved him like family. Many thanks go out from his family to the ladies at Moundville Rehab in Moundville for taking such wonderful care of their father. Special thanks to the ICU at DCH for your kindness during the family's loss. A celebration of Mr. Parker's life will take place at his daughter's home in Moundville.
