He was a loving ""Daddy"" that dedicated his life to his children and grandchildren. He was an amazing grandfather, known to most as Babo, constantly bringing fun and joy to our lives. He was always the first to help someone. He truly had a servant's heart. There wasn't anything he could or would not do. His ingenuity and determination impressed everyone.
He honorably chose to join the United States Marine Corps and served as a Cpl. In the 3rd Tank Battalion 3rd Marine Division during the Vietnam War. He supported the Iron Monsters, The deadliest foe of the Viet Cong aggressors. He proved himself worthy, brave and honorable at all times.
He was a talented machinist for 35 years at Uniroyal Goodrich. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa. He leaves us with many cherished memories and a legacy that will continue for generations to come. He will be missed deeply. There is no other like our Babo.
