Barry Channell

Barry Channell COKER | Barry Channell, age 53 of Coker died on November 4, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday November 8, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Magnolia Chapel North. Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 7:00pm before the service at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife Lisa Channell of Coker, son; Jacob Channell (Taren), sister; Brenda Ragsdale (David), brothers; Danny Channell (Pam), Ronny Channell (Cindy), his parents; Lester and Jewell Channell and his grandaughter; Addison (Doodle Bug) Channell. Born on November 11, 1963 to Lester and Jewell Channell, Barry grew up in the Mt. Olive Community, he graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 1982 and married Lisa Aloisio in 1983. Barry was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved the outdoors. He was a commercial fisherman for several years. Barry delivered milk in Tuscaloosa and the surrounding areas for fifteen years, he also had his own business delivering food for six years and his present employer was Winfield Rental Equipment. Barry was a friend to all and was such a loving husband, father and pawpaw. He will be greatly missed. Honorary pallbearers will be Tuscaloosa County School System, Northport Post Office, and Winfield Equipment Rental.
