Barbara Campbell

Barbara Campbell, 70, beloved Mother, was called to his eternal resting place on January 11, 2021. She was born July 30, 1950 in Oakdale, Mississippi to A.C and Jewel Hedgepeth. She was a graduate of TCHS in 1968 and then proceded a degree in Radiology . She worked as a Radiology Technician at Capstone Medical Center and then in later years pursued a degree in nursing at the University for Women in Columbus, Mississippi. She was working as a Psychiatric Nurse in Fort Payne Alabama.
All that knew Barbara knew she was a person that loved animals , loved people, and loved to give . She had the most generous and giving heart to everyone and every animal . She will be missed by many but memories that will carry on with family and very special friends.

Survivors include her mother, daughters, Dana Oswalt (Phillip) Northport, Al , Jessica Campbell of Wighins , Ms, and Allyson Campbell of Oxford, Ms. Grandchildren : Lacey Hulsey, Northport , Hunter Shirley (Jessica) Gordo, Presley Oswalt, Northport, and Kade & Kyler Campbell, Oxford, Ms. ,great grandchildren: Kyla and Lily Harbin, Northport, and Kallen Averette, Moundville,Al.

She is preceded in death by her father A.C. Hedgepeth and daughter GeorgAyna.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 2:00pm at  Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello, Mississippi with Magnolia Chapel North directing.
