Avron "Buddy" Cook NORTHPORT Avron "Buddy" Cook, age 84, of Northport, died July 19, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. today at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Tindle and Rev. Brannon Pinion officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation with the body lying in state will be today from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North. Survivors include his wife, Janette Cook of Northport. Pallbearers will be Mack Hodo, Mike Richardson, Mike Boswell, David Kelley, Barry Brown, and John Michael Boswell. Honorary pallbearers are Mt. Olive Baptist Church deacons, Roger Christian Men's Sunday School Class, retired firemen of Tuscaloosa Fire Department, employees of Crowning Glory Beauty Salon, Tuscaloosa City Credit Union employees, Margaret Hodo, friends and neighbors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 13303 Mt. Olive Rd., Coker, AL.
