TUSCALOOSA - Austin Luke Snider, age 20, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died July 17, 2018 at UAB Hospital. Services will be 12 noon Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Magnolia Chapel North with Bro. Jeff Long officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Baptist Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lorene Snider.
Survivors include his sister, Magen Watkins (Daniel); brother, Kyle Snider (Mary); parents, Larry Snider and Leigh Snider (Jimmy); grandparents, Johnny Snider (Selena), Alvin Snider, and Cindy Bailey; uncles, Tim Snider (Krystal), Wade Snider (Jennifer), Shon Bailey (Carmen) and Dylan Ingram; aunts, Tisha Snider (Andrew), Kimberly Blount; nephew, Jordyn Watkins; and a host of cousins & friends .
Austin passed away due to an injury sustained by a tragic accident while attempting to perform a good deed. He proved his strength and unshakable faith up until his last moments with us. Austin leaves behind the gifts of love, loyalty, kindness and mercy.
Pallbearers will be Ash Bailey, Caleb Hall, Daniel Watkins, Garret Appling, Hunter Horton, Mason Snider, Nate Bailey and Thomas Sullivan.
Honorary pallbearers are UAB TBICU/PCCU and all first responders.
